What is Ingrid?
Ingrid is a Transport Management System (TMS) used by Nordic e-commerce merchants to manage carrier selection, delivery options, and shipping logistics. With Ingrid, merchants can offer customers a range of delivery methods — home delivery, pickup points, express shipping — all controlled through one platform.
What does the Kustom + Ingrid integration do?
When you use Ingrid alongside Kustom Checkout, delivery method selection happens natively inside the checkout. Your customers don't leave the checkout flow or interact with a separate Ingrid window — they see and select their delivery option in the same step where they pay.
Under the hood, Kustom's Shipping Assistant (KSA) renders Ingrid's delivery options using Kustom's standard shipping components. This means a unified, branded experience for your customers, and less technical complexity for your team.

How to get started
Getting live with Ingrid + Kustom Checkout involves a few steps across both platforms:
Reach out to Kustom. Talk to your Kustom representative, or contact support with your merchant ID and your interest in enabling Ingrid.
We'll connect you with Ingrid. Kustom will guide you to the right contact at Ingrid. You'll need to sign a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and a merchant addendum with Ingrid before the integration can go live.
Get your API credentials from Ingrid. Once your agreements are signed, Ingrid will provide you with the credentials needed for the next step.
Configure your shipping logic in Ingrid. Set up your carriers, delivery zones, and shipping options inside the Ingrid platform. This is handled between you and Ingrid — Kustom is not involved at this stage.
Set up the integration in the Kustom portal. Using your Ingrid API credentials, connect the integration under Integrations → Shipping in the Kustom portal.
Verify in checkout. Confirm that delivery options are rendering correctly in your checkout before going live.
