The Apps section of the Kustom Portal is where you find the features you can add to your Kustom setup, both the ones you already have and the ones we are about to launch. The Overview page shows every app as a card, so you can see what is available, what is coming and sign up to try new features before general release.
Where to find the Apps Overview
Open the Kustom Portal and sign in.
Select Apps in the menu on the left, then Overview.
The Apps menu only appears if there is at least one app available to your store and your user role. If you do not see it, ask an Admin on your store to check your access.
Reading the app cards
Each card shows the app's name, a short description and tags for where it applies:
Online: Applies to Kustom Checkout in your web shop.
In-person: Applies to Kustom in-person payments.
Agentic: Applies to purchases made through AI agents on your behalf of the shopper.
Apps marked Upcoming are not yet generally available. Open the card to read more and sign up for early access.
Apps are grouped by stage:
Foundation: The basics every store needs, for example Payment methods, Shipping and E-commerce platform connections.
Optimisation: Features that lift conversion and order value, for example Elements, Upsell, Express buttons and Authentication.
Retain and grow: Features that bring shoppers back, for example Loyalty and Receipts.
Management: Features for running the business, for example Capital and Accounting.
Use the Stage and Tags filters at the top to narrow the list, and the X to reset.
The set of apps and their availability changes over time. The list above is an example of what you may see, not a guarantee of what is available to your store.
Early access
Some features are released to a limited group of merchants first. You will recognise them by the Upcoming badge on the app card or a Soon badge next to the menu item.
To try a feature early:
Open the app card or the feature's page in the menu.
Click Sign up for early access.
You will be notified when the feature is enabled for your store. Early access features may still change before general release, and we may reach out for feedback.
To leave early access for a feature, open the same page and click Withdraw. The feature will be turned off for your store.
Only Admin users can sign up for or withdraw from early access.
Feature highlights on the dashboard
The carousel on your dashboard highlights apps and features relevant to your store. Click a tile to go to the app's page. Tiles only appear for features your user role can access.
