Preferences
Preferences is where you manage your personal settings in the Kustom Portal.
To access Preferences, click your name in the top-right corner of the portal and select Preferences from the dropdown menu.
These settings are user-specific, changes you make here only affect your own account and do not impact other users.
Notifications
Select which activities trigger notifications and where they appear — on your home page, by email, or both. You can also select which stores each notification applies to.
Follow the steps below to change your notification settings:
Open the Kustom portal and sign in.
Click on your profile on the top right in the portal.
Navigate to Preferences → Notifications in the dropdown menu.
Enable notifications to either show on the homepage, by email or both for disputes, payment activities, and other events as needed
We offer a variety of notifications as outlined below:
New order: Authorizations awaiting capture.
Dispute opened: Requires your response.
Expiring orders (within 3 days): Capture deadline approaching.
Expiring disputes (within 3 days): Response deadline approaching.
Expiring dispute inquiry (within 3 days): Response deadline approaching.
Order export is ready: Bulk export completed.
High risk dispute: Requires your response.
Unauthorized purchase dispute: Requires your response.
Dispute outcome: Outcome available.
Notifications are sent via email, if you are not receiving emails make sure to check:
That notifications are enabled for the right account
That you are not actively blocking emails from Kustom
Please be aware that you will get a separate email notification for each one—this may result in a large number of notification
Theme
Switch between system, light mode and dark mode.
Follow the steps below to change the theme in Kustom portal:
Open the Kustom portal and sign in.
Click on your profile on the top right in the portal.
Navigate to Preferences → Theme.
Select your theme.
The theme in Kustom portal will now update to the selected one.
Timezone
Set your preferred timezone. This affects how timestamps are displayed throughout the portal.
Follow the steps below to set your preferred timezone:
Open the Kustom portal and sign in.
Click on your profile on the top right in the portal.
Navigate to Preferences → Timezone
Select your preferred timezone
The timezone in Kustom portal will now update to the selected one.
Language
Change the display language of the portal. The Kustom Portal is available in English, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Norwegian and German. Each user sets their own language preference and the setting persists across logins.
Follow the steps below to change languages in the Kustom Portal:
Open the Kustom portal and sign in.
Click on your profile on the top right in the portal.
Navigate to Preferences → Language
Select your display language
The language in the Kustom Portal will now update to your chosen language.
