The shopper opens the MB WAY app, selects their preferred payment card and confirms the payment with their PIN or biometrics
The payment is processed immediately and both shopper and merchant receive confirmation
The shopper is redirected back to your store and receives a confirmation message
Do shoppers need to do anything different to use this payment method?
Shoppers need to have an MB WAY account, set up by linking their bank card to their mobile number via Multibanco or their homebanking app. The checkout flow is designed to be seamless and intuitive, with no physical card details required at any point during the transaction.
