1. Understanding Permissions and Roles
Your ability to create and manage orders in the Kustom Portal is determined by the user role assigned to you.
If you can only view the Home/Orders section and do not have order creation options, your user role likely lacks the required permissions.
Admin access is typically required to create orders. If you do not have admin privileges, request a colleague with admin access to update your role.
2. Configuring Terms and Conditions
Before you can create an order, the store's Terms and Conditions must be set up in the portal. This configuration is essential for first-time users. Follow these steps:
Navigate to the Orders Configuration section.
Scroll down to the Terms and Conditions section.
Enter your store’s Terms and Conditions URL.
Click Save.
3. Creating an Order in the Portal
Follow this step-by-step process to create an order:
Log in to the Kustom Portal.
Navigate to the Create Orders section in the left menu.
Enter the customer’s email address or phone number.
Select the customer’s purchase country.
Fill out the Merchant References: - Merchant Reference 1 (visible to the customer). - Merchant Reference 2 (optional).
Add order lines or discount lines and fill in the relevant information: - Product name - Quantity - Unit price - VAT (%)
Review all details carefully and click Create Order to submit.
4. Addressing Order Visibility Issues
If a manually created order does not appear in the portal immediately, this is likely because it awaits customer approval. Orders will only become visible in the system after they are approved by the customer.
A link is valid for 48 hours.
