Manage and Generate API Keys
To effectively manage API keys for your integration with Kustom and other platforms like WooCommerce or Fortnox, follow these instructions.
Open Kustom Portal and sign in.
Navigate to Integrations from the menu on the left.
Click Add API Key to generate a new key.
Once the key is generated, a pop-up will display the password. Be sure to save it, as it cannot be retrieved later.
If you forget the password, you will need to generate a new API key and delete the old one.
Delete an API key
To delete an API key, click the three dots next to it and select Delete API Key.
Best Practices for Secure API Key Management
Store the password or secret key securely during initial generation.
Avoid sharing API keys publicly or with unauthorized users.
Troubleshooting API Key Access
If the Integrations tab is missing in the Kustom Portal, it may be due to insufficient permissions. Contact your account admin to:
Provide API keys or update permissions.
Enable access via User Manager in the Kustom Portal.
