Apply for Kustom Checkout
To begin, apply for an agreement with Kustom by filling out the onboarding form at Kustom.co.
Once your application is submitted:
You'll receive an email with instructions on how to log in to the Klarna Merchant Portal.
If we need any additional information, we'll contact you via email.
Please note that Klarna currently handles the onboarding process on behalf of Kustom.
Checklist: Requirements for your Kustom agreement
Before applying, make sure your business meets the following criteria:
Your company is officially registered.
You have a registered IBAN for payouts.
Your online store is live and equipped with a functional e-commerce or booking system.
Your store offers a selection of products and/or services for purchase.
The following information is clearly visible on your website:
Registered business name
Registered business address
Company registration number
Customer support email address
Return policy and procedure
Cancellation policy - if applicable.
We may request additional information after onboarding. Be sure to submit all required details promptly.
Prohibited and restricted business segments
Some business types are not eligible for Kustom Checkout. Please review our Prohibited and Restricted Segments to ensure your business qualifies.
Troubleshooting onboarding form errors
If you encounter errors when filling out the onboarding form, try the following:
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
Use a different browser (e.g. Chrome, Edge).
Try using an incognito/private browsing window.
Complete the form from another device.
If the issue continues, contact our Merchant Service team for assistance.
Application under review
If your application is under review, we may request additional information. To avoid delays, respond to all requests as quickly as possible.
Application approved
Once approved, you’ll be able to:
Start transacting with Kustom Checkout.
Receive payouts according to your scheduled payout plan.
Approval may happen immediately or after you've submitted the required documentation.
Application rejected
Your application may be declined for one of the following reasons:
Business segment: Your business type falls under a high-risk category. See our Prohibited and Restricted Segments for more details.
Incomplete documentation: You did not provide the necessary information.
Creditworthiness: Your company’s credit assessment did not meet our requirements.
You will receive an email outlining the reason for the rejection.
