Overview
Kustom is switching corporate banking providers. Invoice payment details change starting 1 August. New bank info will be printed on the first invoice issued after that date — merchants/finance teams should update their records to match. Old payments sent by habit aren't lost, we'll track and reconcile them.
Why this matters
Kustom issues invoices for a few different reasons — most commonly transaction fees, but also when your account or settlement balance goes negative (e.g. refunds exceeding sales, cancelled agreements, or platform migration carryovers; see Why does Kustom issue invoices related to negative balances).
We are moving to a new corporate banking provider, so the bank account details on these invoices are changing, regardless of why a given invoice was issued. If you pay via invoice, you need to know your payment details are changing so your finance team or automated payment systems don't send money to the old, soon-to-be-closed account.
What's changing
Kustom is switching corporate banking providers.
This affects invoice payment details only (bank account info on the bill).
The change applies to invoices issued from 1 August onward.
What you need to do
Watch for your first invoice dated after 1 August — the new payment details will be printed directly on it.
Update your finance team or automated payment system with the new bank details shown on that invoice.
No action needed before the August invoice arrives — there's nothing to change retroactively.
Note – International vs. domestic payments: the invoice may show both an IBAN+BIC and a domestic account number (BBAN). If paying from abroad, use the IBAN + BIC; if paying domestically within Sweden in SEK, the account number (BBAN) can be used instead. Use whichever matches how your bank processes the payment.
If a payment goes to the old account by mistake
No stress in the beginning — if an upcoming payment accidentally goes to the old bank account out of habit, Kustom will track it down and reconcile it on our end. That said, the old account will eventually stop accepting payments altogether, and this will happen sooner rather than later, so don't rely on this grace period. Update your payment details as soon as possible once your new invoice arrives, so future invoices route correctly.
