Issue: When uploading the CSV in our portal to configure a product catalog a common error is that the CSV doesn’t match the correct format and unable to upload.
Solution: Make sure no numbers are with decimals and follow the exact format of our CSV example to avoid errors.
Offline_pin_required
Issue: Some banks and issuers can trigger the requirement for certain cards for chip & PIN on Tap to pay, i.e inserting the card. This is not possible with Tap to pay. We have seen error happening especially often with Nordea cards and Tap to pay.
Below is the error message shown in MPOS when this happens:
Payment failed — This card can’t be used with Tap to Pay. Please try another card, mobile wallet, or payment method..
Solution: Use a different card or payment method.
PIN code required
Issue: For card transactions made via Tap to pay over 400 SEK this usually can trigger PIN code requirement to complete the transaction.
Solution: Tap to pay will automatically trigger the UI to input PIN for the user, do this to complete the transaction. For Wallets such as Apple pay and Google pay this is usually never required.
Not being able to see login options when opening the app
Issue: In some cases you might not be able to see the login options when you open the MPOS app. This usually happens if you are logged in at the same time with the same credentials on Safari on our portal.
Solution: Logout from the portal on your browser and then open the app and login in there.
Reader connection or cash register issue
Issue: In order to initiate and take a purchase with MPOS you need to have a cash register opened and connected to a reader, tap to pay.
Solution: Go to settings in the app and first to cash registers, open and claim it, after this go to settings and click reader connection - discover reader - Tap to pay.
