What is the Playground?
The Kustom Playground is a dedicated test environment hosted by Kustom. It allows you to test your Kustom integration, experiment with new features, and simulate real-world scenarios before going live in production.
Sign up for a Kustom Playground account
Create your Kustom Playground account in just a few steps:
Go to the Playground onboarding page.
Complete the playground onboarding form by entering your store name and the email address you’d like associated with your account.
Once you’ve submitted the form, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing a link to the Kustom Playground Portal. Follow the link and choose your preferred sign-in method:

Generating Test API Credentials
Create API credentials to test your integration in the Playground.
To generate your test API credentials:
• Navigate to Integrations in the left menu
• Click Generate new to generate API credentials
• Follow the on-screen instructions to download your new API credentials
Make sure to store your credentials securely, as they are required for authenticating API requests in the Playground environment.
Testing with Sample Data
Use predefined customer and payment data to simulate integration scenarios.
You can test your integration using sample data provided by Kustom. This helps validate your workflows without using real customer information.
Use this data to simulate various checkout, payment, and post-purchase scenarios.
